Justice MSA Siddiqui to Lay foundation stone for a "Grassroot School" at Vellore on 1st Feb 2011

Justice MSA Siddiqui , Chairman NCMEI will lay foundation of Grassroot School at Vellore.

Jaffer AA Khan in OMEIAT Executive BoardMeeting on 8th Jan 2011

Mr Jaffer AA Khan Hon Secretary IMECCTrust attended the OMEIAT Executive Board meeting on 8th January 2011. He made the following suggestions:

1. OMEIAT fund position is weak. Hence OMEIAT needs to draft a policy on "Fund Raising" so that the organization will become more stronger to deal with issues concerned with the Muslim Minority Institutions in Tamil Nadu.

2. It was suggested to form "Committee on Culture and Environment" to deal with the matters concerned with our culture and its contribution to the great cultural heritage of India. Further it is significant that give a thought to Climate Change and Global warming. Initiatives to educate children at Muslim Minority Instititions.

The meeting was Chaired by Mr Md Khaleelullah President OMEIAT and Dr S Sathikh Gen. Sec OMEIAT.

IMECCTrust-Holy Crescent Nursery & Primary School Vellore

IMECCTrust- is in the process of establishing a "Grass root" school in Vellore in a predominantly underprivileged settlement of 350 households. With no schools nearby the children of the area do not think about education.

IMECCTrust- in collaboration with Masjid E Mohammadiya, Infantry Road would like to develop the school to provide basic education upto Primary Level. The school will concentrate on "Girls Education" while a small percentage will be provided to boys aswell. Presently we plan to have 80:20 ratio.

Children will be given moral lessons and build their conduct and character apart from "Class" education to the downtrodden children.

The Foundation Stone ceremony is likely to be held on 1st Feb.2011 by Justice MAS Siddiqui Chairman NCMEI New Delhi and Dr Shabistan Gaffar Chairperson Committee on Girls Education, NCMEI GOI.
